I was told I would have to be a paid member for Support to help me and that would be fine if I didn't intend to stop using Outlook Express Classic Free if I can get Outlook 2003 working as it should. I attempted to contact Outlook Express Classic Free to ask them how to reset the password thinking if I could do that then I could be sure I entered the correct username and password in Outlook 2003. That makes me believe I may not have entered the same username and password in Outlook 2003 that I had entered in Outlook Express Classic Free. When I select Send/Receive in Outlook 2003 I receive a message saying: Please type your username and password. When I set up my email account in Outlook 2003, I used the same username and password I used when I set up the Incoming/Outgoing Servers in Outlook Express Classic Free. I recently installed Outlook 2003, however, while I can send emails I am unable to receive emails. I am currently using Outlook Express Classic Free, which is working fine. The link I gave you was just for your information on the history of MS Webmail starting with Hotmail through the current Outlook. My system is Windows 10 Home, 64-bit. With Desktop Outlook I have my archives on my own hardware fully under my control and backups. we all have different situations so we will lean toward programs that work for us best.Īnother thought is that webmail Archiving I have no clue how long or where archived mail will work. mail is much more efficient and much closer to how desktop Outlook works in my business situations. Personally, I don't care for Gmail although I do use it for some social media purposes. Oh and BTW I looked at several tutorials and none of them do the email justice.I'm not that helpful on this subject, as I use MS Office Outlook to read/send all my email accounts both POP and IMAP mail work well in the desktop MS Outlook, I don't care for any of the webmail programs I work remotely at times with little to no Internet connections and webmail can be a real bandwidth hog in these situations.

From what I saw I actually prefer Gmail at first glance. For some reason (probably the name), I thought it would be similar to Outlook that I have on my Windows 7 PC.
